The clinical reference that lives on your desktop.
Autoclave puts FDA drug labels, interactions, outpatient guidelines, calculators and your local STI picture one search away — written by a practicing nurse practitioner for the questions you actually get between patients.
The Drug Guide is free forever. Paid modules unlock with a key — no account, no subscription required for the core app.

Patient audio is PHI. Hosted audio is relayed to OpenAI for transcription and is never stored by us — but please contact sales@docuwhispersoftware.com to arrange a business associate agreement before using hosted mode with real patient encounters. Where does the content come from?
Drug labels come live from the FDA's openFDA service. Guideline topics are condensed from CDC, USPSTF, ACOG, IDSA, AAP and other primary sources, with the source and year shown on every topic. Guidelines change — always verify against the current source and product label.
Is my data private?
Favorites, notes and settings stay on your computer. On-device dictation never uploads audio. Cloud transcription sends audio only to the provider you choose (your own key, or our hosted relay, which forwards to OpenAI and keeps no audio or text).
Does it replace an EHR or an interpreter?
No. Autoclave is a reference and productivity tool for licensed clinicians. It is not an electronic health record, and machine translation is not a substitute for a qualified medical interpreter.
Mac?
Windows today. Email us if you need a Mac version.
